At Higher Crumpsall Pharmacy, we provide fast, expert sinusitis treatment in Manchester. No long GP waits. No complicated appointments. Just same-day care that works.
What Is Sinusitis?
Sinusitis is inflammation of the sinuses spaces behind your forehead, cheeks, and eyes. When blocked, fluid builds up, pressure increases, and infection can develop.
Two types:
- Acute: Sudden, after a cold. Lasts 2–4 weeks.
- Chronic: Lasts 12+ weeks. Caused by allergies or structural issues.
Manchester triggers: Pollen, damp weather, dry air, pollution, temperature changes.
Rarely serious but very uncomfortable. Treatment works fast.
Common Sinusitis Symptoms
Know the signs. You might have:
- Facial pain or pressure – around eyes, forehead, cheeks
- Blocked nose – hard to breathe through it
- Thick, yellow or green mucus – from the nose or down the throat
- Headache – dull, constant ache
- Cough – worse at night
- Reduced sense of smell or taste
- Bad breath
- Tiredness
- Fever – sometimes
Symptoms can feel like a bad cold. But colds usually clear in 7-10 days. Sinusitis lingers.

I use this pharmacy regularly and every time the service is friendly, polite and efficient. The interior is well laid-out, well stocked, bright, modern and functional. It has everything one would expect or hope for in a pharmacy. Well done, team. Keep up the good work.

A really helpful local pharmacy. They offer a free delivery service, which makes getting prescriptions more accessible. The staff are always friendly, helpful and professional, and the pharmacy itself is clean, tidy and has plenty of seating if you need to wait. It’s only been in the neighbourhood for about a year, so not everyone knows about it yet, but I’d definitely recommend giving it a try – you won’t be disappointed.
